The Denver Chorale will be making its debut at Carnegie Hall on June 1.
On June 1, Jill Schroeder-Dorn will conduct a large chorus in the powerful oratorio Dona Nobis Pacem by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. The performance, part of MidAmerica Productions’ 36th concert season, will start at 7 pm.
The massed choir will consist of the Colorado Christian University Choir of Lakewood, the Summit Choral Society of Breckenridge and the Denver Chorale. Additional singers for the choir of 130 will be drawn from Central Regional High School Choir, Bayville, New Jersey. They will be joined by the New England Symphonic Ensemble, and vocal soloists Christina Major, soprano, and Nathan Matticks, baritone.
