If you enjoy performing choral music and want to share the camaraderie of fellow singers, the Denver Chorale may be for you! We welcome experienced choral singers to audition, whether your last time performing was in church on Sunday or in high school 50 years ago. Auditioning for the Denver Chorale is easy and only takes about 20 minutes. The audition consists of:

• Performing a prepared piece

• Vocalizing to determine range and tone quality

• Singing major and minor scales

• Pitch matching and aural recall exercises

• Sight reading melody and rhythm

You’ll audition with our director, who will gather information about your choral background and interests, and go over the Chorale’s rehearsal schedule, dues, performance attire and attendance policy. Contact us today to schedule your audition. We’d love to sing with you!

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7-9:15 pm at Highlands Church in the Platt Park neighborhood in Denver. Our fall season begins in September and our spring season begins in January. We perform a winter and spring concert, as well as a spring Cabaret fundraiser.
