Professor Pippin Official Chorale Cat personally assists with every audition, thereby ensuring the utmost musical quality.

Auditions are ongoing and scheduled by appointment. We welcome experienced choral singers who read music or know they have a “good ear.”

We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:30 pm at University Park United Methodist Church in Denver from September through mid-May.

Auditioning for the Denver Chorale is easy and only takes about 20 minutes. The audition consists of:

• Performing a prepared piece (required)
• Vocalizing to determine range & tone quality
• Singing major and minor scales
• Singing pitch matching & aural recall exercises
• Sight reading melody & rhythm

You’ll meet with Valerie, the Director, who’ll gather information about your choral background and interests and go over the Chorale’s schedule, dues, performance attire and attendance policy. So contact Valerie today schedule your audition ~ we’d love to sing with you!
